Our Ethical Standards

Responsible public scrutiny — never online harassment.

We approach every case with care, humility, and respect for all lives affected. We do not harass victims, witnesses, prosecutors, judges, jurors, or law enforcement. We do not publish private information recklessly. We do not encourage threats, intimidation, or misinformation. Our goal is responsible public scrutiny, not online harassment.

  1. 01

    We verify before we publish.

Every factual claim we publish is grounded in court records, verified interviews, expert review, or attributed allegation.

  2. 02

We respect victims and surviving families.

Victims of serious crimes carry real loss. We do not exploit that loss, contact families against their wishes, or publish private details for emotional effect.

  3. 03

    We avoid inflammatory claims.

We use careful language. We say 'questions remain' or 'supporters argue,' not 'wrongfully convicted,' unless legally established.

  4. 04

    We cite sources when possible.

Court documents, expert opinions, and on-the-record interviews are noted on each case page.

  5. 05

We do not interfere with active legal proceedings.

We coordinate with counsel when appropriate. We never publish anything intended to compromise an investigation or trial.

  6. 06

    We work with qualified experts.

Forensic, medical, legal, and journalism experts review our work in their fields before publication.

  7. 07

We clearly separate fact, allegation, opinion, and advocacy.

Readers should always know which is which. Editorial markers are visible throughout our work.
